Alia Servizi Ambientali: new contract won in RTI with Esri and Geosystems
Mashfrog Group, Esri Italia, and Geosystems have won the tender for the application maintenance services of the ESRI ARCGIS Enterprise platforms of Alia Servizi Ambientali.
A Temporary Association of Companies (RTI) was formed to optimize the skills of the three companies involved in providing the application and evolutionary maintenance services of Alia Servizi Ambientali, the company that manages the integrated waste cycle in central Tuscany. Specifically, Mashfrog Group, as a partner of Esri Italia and in collaboration with Geosystems, handles the integration with SAP systems through the innovative SAP GEF (Geographic Enablement Framework) and direct integration with the SAP S/4 PM module.
A Strategic and winning partnership
On one side, there is ESRI Italia, a leading company in GIS services within the Utility market, where it has implemented numerous integration projects with SAP systems or other enterprise systems. On the other side, there is Geosystems, an IT company active since 1979 in the GIS sector, offering extensive experience consolidated by a long partnership with Esri and its strategic presence in Florence. Added to this is the consolidated experience of the professionals of Mashfrog Group's BU Enterprise Digital Evolution, confirmed by significant skills in S/4HANA solutions and the previous knowledge of the Alia context with which it has already carried out various other activities both in the SAP field and in digital channel development.
Mashfrog's contribution
In the context of the activities covered by the tender won in RTI by the three companies, Mashfrog Group handles all the SAP integration using the SAP GEF framework and the SAP S/4 PM module. This integration involves two distinct flows: on one side, the alignment of all objects with geographic components (routes, areas, cleaning objects) between GIS and SAP; on the other side, the synchronization of data on installed containers, improving resource monitoring and management. Additionally, Mashfrog manages the integration of frequencies and installation requests for containers through on-demand procedures, ensuring continuous and precise updating of operational data. Essentially, Mashfrog handles any kind of integration that exists between GIS and GEF systems as well as integrations directly involving the SAP PM module.
Contract Duration and Expected Benefits
The contract has a total duration of 26 months, with an initial takeover phase of 2 months and 24 months of continuous application maintenance services, ordinary application management, and evolutionary maintenance.
The combination of Mashfrog's SAP integration skills, ESRI Italia's GIS solutions, and Geosystems' technological implementation ensures a significant improvement in Alia's operations and waste cycle management.
