Financial Times recognises Mashfrog Group's double-digit growth for the second consecutive year
With an average annual growth rate of 40.3%, mashfrog Group is one of the European companies that have grown increasingly faster according to Financial Times and Statista ranking.
A new milestone for Italian tech company mashfrog Group which, thanks to the average growth rate recorded between 2016 and 2019, returns for the second consecutive year in the FT 1000 Europe's Fastest Growing Companies 2021, the ranking of Europe's leading companies in terms of speed of growth and productivity. With an average annual growth of 40.3%, mashfrog Group – already Leader of Growth 2021 – is 878th in the European ranking drawn up by the Financial Times, establishing itself as one of the most innovative entrepreneurial realities of the old continent.
FT 1000 Europe's Fastest Growing Companies is the result of an accurate analysis of thousands of European companies carried out by the Financial Times in collaboration with Statista, the German statistical survey institute, following which the companies with the highest rate of growth in terms of not just turnover were selected. The final ranking lists those that have had the best performance on a continental scale. In terms of industrial sectors, green energy occupies first place and the ranking reflects once again the growth achieved by technology companies, which dominate with 218 entries, up from the 189 last year. This ranking rises to 290 if the companies operating in the fintech and e-commerce sectors are added to these categories, albeit in a discreet way.
For the first time, Italy is the country with the highest number of companies on the list: 269. Second is Germany with 203, followed by France with 164. Like last year, London is the city with the largest number of rapidly growing companies (71), followed by Paris (46) and Milan (36).
To be included in the European ranking some fundamental requirements had to be met, including a minimum turnover of € 100 thousand and € 1.5 million respectively in 2016 and 2019, and have demonstrated capacity for rapid and effective growth. In addition, almost all the companies selected by the Financial Times and Statista show a scalable business model suitable forinternationalisation, ability to respond in an innovative way to the traditional and emerging needs of communities, resilience and agile models of internal organisation.
This profile fully corresponds to the DNA of mashfrog Group, an Italian company that today boasts offices in Europe and throughout the world, with a workforce of almost 400 people having an average age of 33, and which manages international projects with a high level of complexity.
The complete list of FT 1000 Europe's Fastest Growing Companies 2021 is available online and will be published in the Financial Times in a dedicated report, available on newsstands on 22 March.
This important milestone reached by mashfrog Group is made even more extraordinary by the awareness that the health emergency has almost blocked the global economy and demonstrates how, even in times of crisis like this, it is essential to continue to focus on entrepreneurial growth and on 'Made in Italy' companies.
"We are proud to be part of the FT’s ranking of the best thousand European companies for the second consecutive year, confirming the validity of our offer strategy and the innovativeness of our proprietary platforms", commented Edoardo Narduzzi, President & Founder of mashfrog Group.
